My pride of 4 is planning to adopt a dog. Would that make us a pride or a pack???
We have been talking about this for years and I have always said no... But as the cubs (ages 7 and 6) get older and therefore seem to require much less mental energy, a dog does not seem like such a bad idea. My husband and I started at the local shelter to see what was available, knowing full well that neither of us wanted to get a puppy. The shelter was full of dogs that I'm sure would have been nice additions to the pride, but they all seemed to have something undesirable. Too much drool, it shed a lot, it was found almost starved and is now overly food driven... We decided a little research might do us some good and we came across the greyhound.
